Smart well metering

Know what your well produces, hour by hour, from your phone.

Arddata connects the meter on your well and shows production, pumping sessions and quota use in a simple mobile view. No more driving out to read the meter.

Sound familiar?

  • You only learn the month’s production when someone reads the meter.
  • You cannot tell whether the pump ran the hours you expected.
  • The quota runs out and you find out too late.
  • With several wells, comparing them means collecting numbers by hand.

How it works

  1. 01

    We survey the site

We check the existing meter, power and signal coverage, and agree what to measure.

  2. 02

    We install and connect

A compatible meter or reader sends data over LoRaWAN or another suitable network.

  3. 03

You follow it from your phone

Production, sessions and quota appear in the well owner portal, and on a shared dashboard for operators with several wells.

What you see

Flow and volume
Current flow and production by hour, day and month.
Pumping sessions
When the pump ran, for how long, and how much it produced each time.
Quota use
Production against the cycle quota, with what remains, where a quota is set up.
Device status
When the last reading arrived, so a silent site does not go unnoticed.

Already running in the field

35 wells connected and monitored, 12 million cubic metres of water monitored and 6 million sensor readings processed. Our work includes water monitoring with Miyahuna.

Questions we hear

Can you use the meter I already have?

Often, yes. Many mechanical meters can be read with a pulse output, and electromagnetic meters can be read directly. We confirm compatibility during the site survey.

Do I need internet at the well?

No. Readings usually travel over a LoRaWAN gateway or a cellular link chosen for the site’s coverage. Power options are agreed during the survey.

Can I see several wells together?

Yes. Operators with several wells get a dashboard that compares production, pumping status and quota use across them.

Can it switch the pump on and off?

Monitoring does not include control. Remote control needs suitable equipment and a separate control design, which we can scope if you need it.
